CURRENT MISSION New encounters and new friends ABOUT ME I am a former journalist turned social worker, a vegetarian, a dancer (mostly salsa and kizomba, sometimes a bit of lindy hop) and a lot of other things. I live with my husband, a Palestinian IT nerd whom I met at a couch surfing event. I've moved around a bit in the world. Lived, worked and studied in France, Palestine/Israel, USA and Ecuador, but I've landed again back in my home town in Sweden and that seems to be where I'm staying. Still feel the urge to travel some times, but mostly I just love being back home and letting the world come to me. PHILOSOPHY Toughest question so far. Hope I'll have an answer some day.
CURRENT MISSION to enjoy ABOUT ME Originally from the United States been in Sweden for seven years. I can be most all different kinds of human emotions, but as long as I get enough sleep I can be fun to be around. I like socially interacting hence why I am on couchsurfing. I've done a lot of hosting in the U.S. and now looking forward to surfing. I feel like the older I am getting the less partying I want to do. One of my ideal weekend nights would be listening to records while drinking a beer. However, I'm easily motivated to do most anything when other people encourage me, or are as out going. If you want to know about me from an objective standpoint concerning Couch Surfing just read my references. PHILOSOPHY think rationally where available, and stop thinking about your job
After some years working with different things and travel around, I have now settled down in my home town Örebro in the heart of Sweden. I live pretty close to the university together with my husband Micke (https://couchsurfing.page.link/KJwPzzpDLiCAqt5n8) who I met through couchsurfing, our son Melker (born in 2015), our daughter Majken (born in 2018) and our daughter Mio (born in 2020). In 2018 we went on a nine weeks' adventure, taking the train to Italy to wwoof for four weeks. On our way there and back we visited friends from all around Europe who we've met during our travels and through coucusurfing. It was absoultely fantastic and we proved to ourself and others that traveling the backpacking way is possible even as a family, it just works a bit differentyoThis made us ready to host surfers again, so if you have the right couchsurfing spirit and want to share our tiny apartment with us for a night or two we would love to hear from you :) I grew up just 15 km away from this town, but also as a missionary kid in Centralafrican Republic where my parents went to work when I was three years old. We lived there for five years, and I think that this is big reason why I love traveling and always try to fit in somewhat wherever I go. I love being surrounded by family and friends, having dinner together or a Swedish "fika" (coffee and cake). Even better if we go out camping in the forest! It's important to me that my children grow up with an extended family like this.
I grew up among the fjords and mountains in Northern Norway, which is probably why I love to spend time outdoors. I have a big passion for the environment and exploring the world in a sustainable way. I've soon completed four out of six years of my clinical psychology studies, and I'm hoping to work with environmental psychology in the future. I am a curious, social and open-minded soul, and I love getting in touch with people from all over the world.

CURRENT MISSION update couchsurfing profile ABOUT ME Well, I am a Luxembourgish guy and about to move to Amsterdam to start a master's degree over there. After a year of keeping it cool I am prety excited about starting studying again at university. Besides this, same story as for every couch-surfer: open-minded, cosmopolitan and all those crapy idle words people like to say about themselves. PHILOSOPHY work hard, think hard, party hard.
I'm a 31 year old psychologist who lives with my boyfriend David (who's a passionate engineer) in downtown Örebro. We moved to Örebro in March two years ago and we're continously exploring the city and it's surroundings, so what isn't better than to explore the area together with you! We love to spend time with our friends as well as meeting new ones. We also like to go to improv, play boardgames, pc- and tvgames, spend time in nature, do mindfulness retreats, watch movies and series. Music is a big passion of ours, we listen to a broad spectrum of genres and love to dig into new ones as well! I always find it hard to describe myself, my boyfriend and us a couple, but feel free to ask whatever falls into your mind :)
I just signed up for couch surfing after hearing so many people giving their praises to it, and this got me excited to give it a go! I'm a curious guy from Sweden with my head kind of up in the clouds and have a wonderful habit of doing everything the last minute. I'd like to think I have an open mind and I want to have a wide variety of experiences and people around me, since that always helps me get new perspectives and in turn makes me grow personally.
JUST TO BE CLEAR; THIS IS NOT A DATINGAPP. Im easy going and open minded, id say I’m an ambivert/omnivert and I love a good conversation. I enjoy talking about life philosophy, mental health, football, psychology, plants, music, movies and food :) I really enjoy walking and hiking and I'm a big fan of nature and plants. But ofc I as well enjoy a night out dancing or drinking beer in some nice spot with a good vibe. Raves and techno 🤍 I believe that we should cherish meetings and take care of each other in this world. And treat each other with respect and an open mind. ✌🏽🤍

Me, Moa, Elis, Vide, Elna (our sons 12 and 9 years old, and a 3 year old girl live since 19 years in a farm from the 1890s on the countryside. We have two horses and some some other animals here. I play traditional music from various cultures - most Swedish and Finnish tunes though. In my spare time I experiment with rhubarbs, apples and music instruments and fix broken things at our place. I play the accordion, fiddle, contra bass, sälgflöjt and the keyharp. When I'm not working I read books about history, psychology, philosophy and sociology. I also spend much time building and repairing at home.
I am currious guy from Sweden. Always looking for some adventures and something new to learn. I love all outdoor activities like skyig, having bath in the lake. I love sauna! I love to drive a motorcycle. I also like to travel and meet new people :)
