Spanish version!! For English version please scroll down! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I used to be a very active person. Someone who really love outdoor sports and being in contact with nature. Nowadays, I've pulled the hand-brake a little bit and I'm focusing into learning more about myself and the "human" side of things. I'm reading about self-knowledge, meditation, energy vibes, spreading love, being more empathetic, natural food and so on. I host people at home :) Sharing people's life experience is the best! You can learn so much from it and become a better human :) I live on my own in Parque Batlle neighborhood, just in front of Centenario Stadium. It's pretty close to Ramirez and Pocitos beaches and it's also quite close to ciudad vieja. I do have a private bedroom for surfers with single beds. I also do different kind of activities with surfers (not only people I host but also other Couchsurfing members here at UY). Like :D - Kayaking y Stand Up Paddle (SUP) - Bouldering (it's like rock climbing but indoor) - Riding bicycle in the coast (rambla) - Slackline (balancing in a rope between trees) My real hobbies are: mountain bike, motocross/hard enduro, Kayak/SUP and Football. There're plenty of things for doing in Montevideo and surrounding areas! - Going to the coast/rambla and walking around it (or by bicycle) - Picnic and watching the sunset from Rodó Park or on top of Teatro de Verano hill. (there you can see a big part of the city) - Going Kayaking or Stand Up Paddling to the beach and crossing to Gaviotas Island in Malving Beach or watching the sunset from the Sea in Playa Ramirez. - Walking around old city (ciudad vieja) or doing a free walking tour. - Going to the Panoramic View on top of Intendencia Montevideo's Building to see the sunset. You can see the whole city and there's a nice cofee shop! Cheap and tasty! - Going to the Botanic Garden :) - Doing a motorbike tour around the city and/or rambla/coast. - Going out for a beer! Doing a bar tour (having one drink per visited bar) XD haha I'm a Software Engineer but it's not something I identify myself with so much. I work home-office since 2015.
ENGLISH: [Please, read before contacting me] 😁 (ESPAÑOL, más abajo) Traveling is much more than the experience of temporarily moving from one place to another. Couchsurfing has given me since 2016 the opportunity to broaden my horizons. I actively participate in politics in my country, so traveling allows me to generate new perspectives that contribute to my life. I enjoy walking through the cities, using public transport or riding a bicycle, reading the news, knowing what is happening, what people are thinking, the problems of each place. Sometimes I return to a city just to feel it. Sitting in a square or a park and watching things just happen. Sometimes I visit tourist places, other times I choose exotic or strange destinations, many of those "don't go" ones. Curiosity leads me to want to discover the stories of places I have read and learned about in all this time. I try to be a good ambassador for my country, represent its values (and my values), find out what we can teach the world and what maybe we should change. In Uruguay, I actively participate in the activities of the Couchsurfing community and promote these instances of exchange with people from all over the world. I don't need to think the same as everyone else, nor just lock myself in my ideas. I practice being respectful, pleasant, patient and open with the styles, preferences and life choices. I promote that same attitude towards myself and others.

I am an Indian, staying in Uruguay for the past 4 years. I love traveling a lot and visiting new places and knowing about it's history and culture. I am an extrovert and I love socialising and meeting new people. Very fond of animals too. I equally love playing football and play twice a week after office. I recently got introduced to the PICKLEBALL game and I try to play every weekend. You will know more about me when we meet in person. I am an easy going guy and sometimes just love to chill at home in my own company by cooking something and watching some shows on tv. PHILOSOPHY I just live thinking each day as an opportunity and to enjoy life.. To stay in touch with friends and always share experiences and happy moments. Also it is very important to understand that when you visit someone's place - appreciate their gesture that they are inviting you into their space with an open heart and love so never complain even if you see something which is not nice or not clean as you are staying for free. So always learn to appreciate it.
--- It is very dificult to express all that a person is... it would take forever and it changes every day... but it would be a pleasure to share with you in person!
I arrived from Argentina 31.1.18 I was living off the grid there for the past 6 months. I'm delighted to be back in my city which I realized I deeply love and enjoy, even more when is with others. Awake and aware. Hyper present in the moment. Easy going, chill, relax, and positive. Super fun to be around, always jolly. Definitely natural charisma and a heart of gold. A willingness to show you around MVD - Colonia or East is always there for you to take. I made Instagram update (I was the guy behind #INTA) it's notifications system three years ago. That's why you get to know when someone uploads a pic : ) (you're welcome lol) From age 24 to my 30's I was pursuing a Monastic life vocation in Argentina, Colombia and US being part of the Trappist Monks community.

I'm a queer computer engineer who specializes in machine learning. Despite the technical nature of my work, I consider myself a friendly, approachable, and open-minded person. Sometimes I like to plan everything out, while other times I enjoy leaving things to chance and believing that there's something that will choose the best option for me. I enjoy learning, listening, chatting, and sharing what little I know, but above all, giving love ❤️. I'll be travelling through Europe in June, July and August: Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Belgium, Copenhague, Stockholm, Berlin, Munich and Prague along with their surrounding areas and I'd love to meet new people :) If you would like to stay read my profile and check the "Their home" section for more details.
**Currently traveling around Central Asia! Won't be able to host until mid-october 2026** Every stranger is a potential new friend: that's what life and CS are for me. I LOVE Travelling - like I believe you do as well :) A couple of years ago, while traveling around Uruguay, I met Sara, my girlfriend, and decided to relocate to Montevideo. We live together with her son, Salva, but we host only when Salva is with his father. Feel free to send me a request, let's see if you are lucky enough :) I ABSOLUTELY love foreign languages, I am always trying to learn something new. I LOVE food, as well - some people say I'm constantly eating something... maybe that's why I started running to keep fit! (I run my first marathon in 2024 and survived it).
