Hi! I’m Tani, a Mexican traveler and curious soul who loves discovering places through the people who live there. I lived in Japan for about four years, which became a very meaningful chapter of my life. I’m currently spending some time back in Mexico and taking the opportunity to travel, explore and see my own country with fresh eyes. I’m adventurous and I enjoy experiences that take me a little outside my comfort zone — hiking, discovering small towns, trying local food, getting lost somewhere new, or simply having a good conversation with someone from a completely different background. I love cooking, so sharing a meal is one of my favorite ways of connecting with people. I also enjoy nature, mountains, gardening, photography, books and learning about different cultures. I’m traveling not only to see new places, but to experience them more slowly and authentically. ABOUT ME I consider myself a chill and grateful person, a bit shy at first but friendly and loyal. I really enjoy spending time with family, friends and people I find interesting. I've got a degree in dentistry, I´m an orthodontic specialist and hold a PhD in oral sciences; being helpful with people is the most rewarding feeling of my job. I could literally live traveling, as everybody here haha, I do it everywhere and anytime I can and I try to find any place interesting, from a little town to a big city.
