ABOUT ME I'm a midwest native, but I love the misty rains of the Pacific Northwest, the brass band music of NOLA, and the slow way of life present in so many countries other than my own. My home is cluttered with art supplies, the walls full with photos, and the kitchen stocked with dark chocolate, chai tea, and all the spices. As I am still renovating my house, my house is also cluttered with many other things. It’s often a complete mess, so be forewarned if you request to stay with me. 🤪
CURRENT MISSION My mission is to be a blessing to others. ABOUT ME Here's what I love: Being on this amazing planet, and having the health and energy to explore it and help others enjoy their time here, in peace and love. PHILOSOPHY In January of 2006 I realized that I am most happy living out of a tent and helping other people. My personal possessions truly get in the way of my developing relationship with God. So I gave my things away, lightened my load, and spent 7 years as a full time volunteer - for whatever cause I came across in my travels that spoke to me - individuals, organizations, religious, environmental, all were fair game. If they would give me a place to pitch my tent, or space on a floor or a couch, I helped them to the best of my ability. I obtained my Permaculture Design Certificate in January 2012 with Starhawk's Earth Activist Training, and deepened my skills with Compassionate Communication by attending the Bay Area Leadership Training in Nonviolent Communication in 2012. I began facilitating workshops on a gift basis. Now I am no longer nomadic. I have chosen to stay on Vashon Island, Washington to write a book about my nomadic life of service, and to help Americans adopt both Permaculture and Compassionate Communication as ways of life which will help the whole world.

I spent a couple of incredible years Couchsurfing, a journey that helped me explore over 80 countries I loved every single moment of those adventures, but like many, I deactivated my account during Covid when life simply got in the way. Now, I'm back, reactivated, and ready to reconnect with the global community. I've missed the stories, the shared spaces, and the unique connection that only this platform provides. I recently made a life change and moved across the continent to Iowa !
CURRENT MISSION JAPOW!! Planning a trip to Japan to snowboard and finally experience the culture that has captivated me since childhood. My buddy Bill and I are going to be all over Japan and would love to spend as much time as possible meeting locals, snowboarding, and being immersed in Japanese culture. Main problem; neither of us speaks the language... Currently in Burien Washington. It is highly under utilized. I would be more than happy to host interesting people who are passing through and looking for a pleasant experience in Burien/White Center area. Recently cuffed up, Wife and Son (13) are less interested in hosting people, but willing to consider for the right people. Let us know if you think it might be a good fit. ABOUT ME a guy who likes sport bikes, mountain biking, cliff jumping and hiking. Things I enjoy greatly but rarely do: Snowboarding, Rock Climbing, Sport bike Twisties, Traveling, Wakeboarding, Football, Futbol, Yoga, Computers, Wood working, meditation, political debates. PHILOSOPHY "Do what makes for a great story" - Yahushua. You have something to learn from everyone.
I am very respectful, outgoing and accommodating. I live a simple life, mostly on my computer.i just recently started struggling with my living situation. Before I would hang out and go skating. I also like to travel and play big kid games like arcades, amusement and attraction parks. It’s really nice to still have fun and laugh when I can afford to. Especially because I am a single woman who has been transitioning from a toxic situation where I never knew how hard being alone was. I am looking for a location and hopefully a great friend to help me get through my transitioning period. I show gratitude.
CURRENT MISSION Be a more open and compassionate human. ABOUT ME I am a fairly relaxed fella that likes to travel and meet people. Simple enough. I think friends and experiences are the most important things in my life. I want to understand the world better and find a place in it. I like to be outside a lot doing activities of many sorts. I also like to read. PHILOSOPHY A simplified version is 'live and let live'. If people do things that make them happy and aren't hurting others or themselves, who are we to interfere or judge. Some people can get so mad over things that don't affect them at all.
i love meeting people from all over while slowly traveling the world!
Pas encore de bio, probablement en train d'explorer
CURRENT MISSION To travel and meet amazing people!! Currently I’m traveling Alaska with my 2 dogs in my camper van, working on wildlife photography. In winter I usually work as a ski instructor, and spend summers as a wildland firefighter. Although I can't host at the moment, I can't wait until I can start hosting again some day! ABOUT ME I love to travel (obviously) and take photos. I am passionate about horses (endurance riding specifically). I love learning new languages, and meeting new people from different cultures. I am outgoing and like to have fun while making memories and experiencing new things. I adore the outdoors, and spend most of my free time hiking, backpacking, camping, and paddle boarding. There are very few things I won't try:) PHILOSOPHY I believe in a lot of things....mostly I do my best to be happy and help other to feel the same!! I believe deeply in the power of travel, and I believe it should be feasible for everyone, regardless of their financial situation. I believe that as travelers it is our responsibility to always be respectful of others, their space and their cultures, as well as this beautiful planet we traverse.
I’m an easygoing, curious, and open-minded person who enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds and experiencing places through the eyes of locals. I enjoy good conversations, exploring new neighborhoods, trying local food, spontaneous plans, and discovering the places that don’t always make it onto the tourist list. I’m an extrovert once I get comfortable with the fellow human , I appreciate quiet moments and genuine connections !!!!
