** NOT CURRENTLY HOSTING ** - I'm not accepting guests at the moment, so please don't send host requests ABOUT ME A nice 29 year boy, I like to get to know the story of the people I meet randomly in my life path. Jack of all trades, Master at a few. I like to share ideas and have nice and interesting discussions with people around me. I only and surely will make you life better! Very benevolent, fun and often funny (especially after a good night of sleep). I am an avide learner and want to know it all about life: it is nice but can flip side of the coin is it cab lead to lack of focus:) Extensive and avid traveller, I am first and foremost looking for intellectual/spiritual connections with others - ENFP -Important: I am a pretty busy person working from home I tend to need time and space and thus need to be a bit by myself during the daytime - I prefer short stays please - I host people with (multiple good) reviews - As we all know, CS is a mutually enriching/growing experience ...
CURRENT MISSION Stay present! PHILOSOPHY You are the only one responsible for your happiness and self-worth. Always live in the "now", that is the only moment of time you have control over. The careful nature doesn't always ensure success.
-About me- I initially tried CS because my friend Nick went across Asia, and said it was a great way to meet people. And hell ya! It's an awesome way to meet different people from many cultures and perspectives right here in my home town. I've met people from France, England, California, Germany, and different parts of Canada like London Ontario/Alberta! It's been an awesome time visiting places, canoeing, and partying with new friends. Thanks for being such nice and positive people! I am working therapist now. I am completed a Masters in Educational Counseling. That is my passion and dream. Apart from that, I enjoy keeping busy with quite a few things: volleyball, baseball, basketball, road biking, walking, camping, snowboarding, skating, finding good pubs, road trips (QC, ON, NB, NS). I'm the kind of guy that is down to earth, enjoys chatting about personal experiences, ideas, adventures, and different philosophies. I am a positive person that likes to joke around. I respect people, and enjoy making them feel comfortable. The best places I like to go out are all in Ottawa. There's some great pubs (my face is Lieutenants Pump, and some great spots for food like sushi, Mexican, Moroccan, and Italian. And, obviously parliament hill is a cool place to visit some of Canada's historical sites. I ALSO LOVE CAMPING. So if it's nice out, canoeing on a HUGE lake is amazing. -Philosophy- Live and let live. Respect and positivity. Great to meet new people, new ideas. Keep an open mind, and chat away. -My place- I actually now have one free guest rooms with a desk, bed, and closet. So, lots of room and privacy there. I used to have roommates, but only one French one right now. As well, I have a very comfortable couch that is firm and is made out of therapeutic foam apparently. There place has lots of room, kitchen, bathroom (laundry stuff there too), computer room, and a small balcony. I am a very clean person, so I expect the same from the guest :). I believe in the broken window theory :P (and yes, Rick mentioned it in the latest season of The Walking Dead). So, I believe if he says it's true, it's gotta be. The place is very close to Ottawa. Near by there is a bus stop that bring you right to downtown Ottawa and past parliament (10 minutes). There are bridges all around, and the Gatineau Casino where they have fireworks in July. Once downtown in Ottawa, there are plenty of things to visit such as the canal, parliament, national arts center, the market (food, bars, pubs, and other goodies), and much more.

CURRENT MISSION Explore, embrace life and find meaning in every moment. ABOUT ME I'm a fun loving outdoorsy person. I'm all about the environmental and social justice. I love to travel. I sometimes feel guilty about the carbon planes create so I try to train, bus, bike and walk. PHILOSOPHY Freedom, Peace, Be happy -(No wait that's my shirt) "We cannot solve the problems of today using the same thinking as that which lead to them" (Einstein -or my garbled remembering of the phrase)
Originally from rural America, now living in Canada.
I returned to Canada from a France after a nice long stay in 2010 and spent some time living in my hometown, Ottawa. I moved back to Toronto in 2012, where I had previously lived for quite a few years. I took up a job and went back to school part-time for Holistic Nutrition, Reiki and Hypnosis. I adore the outdoors, animals, the arts, cooking and being places I have never been.
IG: @ottawa hidden gems I'm Sina, 36 years old—a really welcoming and easygoing person. I'm a happy person and I try to be always positive and optimistic about life ✌️I like to enjoy my time and be grateful for the chance to experience this life. I love meeting new people and hearing their views on life. Music is a big part of me—I own three different-sized portable speakers, so I usually end up being the DJ at gatherings. I can also play some Persian guitar songs, though they’re not the most exciting! I like cooking. I cook Persian dishes really well, but I can also do pasta, burgers, fries, etc. 😂 At the moment, nothing else comes to mind since I haven't been active for many years. I was an active host in Shiraz, Iran, back in 2016, but then I became inactive. I moved to Canada three years ago, but now I'm back to continue this part of the life journey I’ve missed. I just recalled that I love traveling. My biggest dream in life is to visit many countries, live there, and immerse myself in different cultures—to understand how people experience and exist in this life and this world. I'll update this again... Cheers!
Eager to meet travellers from all over the world, whether through hosting, surfing or meetups!
