I am just a dreamer who was lucky enough to be touched by the "magic of life" after taking the radical decision of letting go of whatever was holding me back from making my dreams come true. MY MISSION My name is Veronica. My purpose in life is to be the counterpart of the dream "killers" by encouraging others to overcome their fears and reach their biggest dreams. Many years ago, I had a dream to explore the whole world. I was living in my native country (Cuba) where it was not possible, so I decided to cross the ocean using a fragile rustic boat and start a new life in the United States. After some years living in the US, I got a second passport and nationality. Then, I asked myself a radical question, if I had only two months left to live (which no one knows for sure) would I continue living the way I am living? What would I change? Then, I decided to start a journey around the world 😊 Since then, and as part of my contribution to global happiness, I have been committed to encouraging others to achieve their own goals in life, too! Last year, I published a book on Amazon about my global Journey titled La Magia de Vivir en Libertad (The Magic of Living in Freedom) where I challenge many old paradigms and limiting beliefs. ABOUT ME During my long-term journey since 2014, I have found that our world is very far away from what is portrayed in the media. We live on a planet full of great and trustworthy people! I understand that there are some "rotten apples" in some places, but they are just a few compared to the entire population of the world. For those who would like to reinforce their faith in humanity, I could provide a total shift of perspective by sharing the incredible experiences I have had during my journey. The immense difference between what people told me I would experience and what really happened made me feel as if I were living in a "parallel reality". I have been told many times "YOU CAN'T", "YOU SHOULDN'T" "YOU MUST NOT" "THAT IS RIDICULOUS"..." THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE"..." GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE CLOUDS". Fortunately, the intense burning fire of my dreams completely consumed those pieces of limiting advice. I sincerely believe that ANYONE CAN live his/her most incredible and supposedly unreachable dream regardless of his/her own "circumstances" if one makes a MIND SHIFT. I'm full of ENTHUSIASM and EXTREMELY THANKFUL for all the GIFTS that life offers to me including the journey for many years traveling through the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa, and Latin America. I LOVE LIFE! It is a precious gift that we should not waste! I extremely enjoy meeting people just to exchange stories...inspiring, funny, jaw-dropping stories... I'm a PERPETUAL LEARNER and used to be a compulsive reader. During my global journey, the regular books I used to read were replaced by the fabulous "walking books" I find everywhere. (Everyone I meet has an interesting life story to share). I like to live simply and travel light. I consider myself a very loyal and respectful friend. I live mostly in a space of no time while I am traveling. Schedules, plans, or calendars are substituted by the spontaneity of life... PHILOSOPHY Life can change drastically in a matter of seconds, so......NOW is the perfect time of our lives to fulfill our dreams. 😊
