I am both a very down-to-earth and passionate person. I have (too) many interests and my thirst for knowledge and will to share and love to give drive my everyday life. I am passionate about languages, computer games, cycling and football. I now have the opportunity to give my contribution to the one which has proved to be a very nice community so far. The target is to deliver to my guests an experience worth a positive memory, and to get from them the same something good I will remember about them after they left. Unfortunately in this very moment of my life I cannot host but I'm happy to help every traveller in every way I can.
I'm a cheerful dad, father of two wonderful teenagers, very inclined to meeting people from different cultures. I have a deep knowledge of the best spots to visit in Rome and I know all the best restaurants and pizzerias. I love so much my home town that my passion for it is transparent. I work from home as a freelance so I could often be available to show you around town (if it's not too hot) or to suggest you the best itineraries depending on how many days you'll be staying in Rome. I'm 196 cm (6'5") tall and walking around town with me it's like being escorted by a gladiator (or bodyguard)... But don't get scared by my looks, I'm an adorable (straight) teddy bear. ;) I'm also a Mensa (High I.Q. Society) member: funny and smart conversations guaranteed! I wrote 63 books of jokes (mostly in italian, one in french and one in english, just Google my name). I love to laugh and make other people laugh, I'm often sarcastic and into dark humor. So be aware that I might seem harsh if you can't get sarcasm or don't have a good sense of humor! 😉 If you consider staying at my place or hanging out with me, please BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH (or french)! I can also understand pretty well spanish but I can't speak it. The most embarrassing and frustrating experiences were due to lack of communication with some surfers. Ciao ! Thank you for visiting my profile ! I am a very open minded man living in Rome. Love music and everything can "shake" my mind and curiosity about life and people.. They say that I am a very easy going person but also can get a little bit grumpy when people don't understand the meaning of "respect".. I love to show my town expecially all the hidden bits that only romans know. Due to some“misunderstandings” and “disappointing” things ( some couchsurfers just copy / paste their request without reading my profile ) I have to REMARK that: 👉 I only accept 1 guest at time ( 👬 only men - naturists or people that want to try that life style); 👉 i am a fkk member so I am a nudist and I have a nudist lifestyle (clothing optional place); 👉 I have just 1 (one) bed to share ( I am a naked sleeper - no sexual meaning at all, check my feedback)- take a shower before going to bed pls; 👉 I live at the 5th floor without elevator. It is sad to say but due to people that don't read my profile and then they are rude to me (uneducated, looking for just a place to stay, no respectful, selfish.. on and on and on) i will refuse you request if you dont say “Atari” at the end of your message. Reading the profile of your next host, spending time and energy for you is a must, not a choice. Thank you ! 🙏
