I'm from Chicago, but went to school in St. Louis where I majored in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies as well as American Culture Studies and Printmaking. Right now I'm laying low travel-wise, but hope to undertake a cross-country road trip next summer!

Musique, films et livres
At the moment, I'm really into garage music, such as Heavy Cream, Mikal Cronin, Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall, Vivian Girls, Hunx and His Punx, King Khan, King Tuff, Pujol, Black Lips, Useless Eaters, et. al. I can also go out for folksy or twee stuff, like Sufjan Stevens, Belle & Sebastian, Beat Happening, The Vaselines, Girls, Warpaint... As far as books go, I really enjoy graphic novels and nonfiction/essay compilations, which I contend is not as boring as it sounds. Most of my reading as of late has been focused on food industry research and books on capitalist consumer culture for the thesis paper I just completed for my degree.

Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I can teach you how to make a few new vegetarian/vegan dishes, point you towards good STL sightseeing opportunities - sorry, I'm too busy for much else! If you are the one hosting me, I can cook you a meal or we can go out for drinks and chat.
