HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm trying to be a responsible, global citizen who recognizes that 'we're all in this boat together' . COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE None, so far.

Movies: Dr.Strangelove, Brazil, Schindler's List, Clockwork Orange, Motorcycle Diaries, ad infinituum. Books: works of Carl Jung, Hermann Hesse, Jack Keroac, Bavagad Gita, Zen.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
Recently went on a motorcycle camping trip along the Lewis & Clark historical route; saw some period re-inactments too. I admire the Corps of Discovery 'cause they were REAL hero's (not the media-manufactured posers that we're bombarded with in this brave, new 21st Century).

I've always been oriented toward a philosophical approach to a quality life. As a youth I wanted to go into the Ministry (Lutheran), but I'm glad that I didn't go there (it's the 'dogma' issue again!).

Self-sustaining rural living, horses, motorcycles, philosophy, reading history of Westward expansion during 19thCentury, animals (especially horses),and trying to live simply here on Earth.
