I’m Asher, who loves meeting people and learning of different worlds. I’m a cyclist, gardener, media producer, photographer, avid cook, and techno lover. I also enjoy chats on history, science, economics, politics, linguistics, and philosophy. I'm open, convivial, and unusually tall.

Un endroit que tout le monde devrait visiter un jour, c'est...
Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, for it serenity, diversity and natural beauty
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
Come stay with me in Heidelberg, in north east Melbourne / 30mins to city on train. Love connecting with travellers from around the world. I've surfed in Bogota, San Francisco, Antwerp and Atlanta, and met couchsurfers all over.
Musique, films et livres
Music! In the past I was all about rock, jazz and blues, but these days I'm mostly listening to relaxed electro, techno, dubstep, trip-hop or thumping pop/house (while cycling). I love talking music and hearing new stuff. Big on my right-now playlist are Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, Sia, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Moderat, Four Tet, Emancipator and Trentemøller. But i'm very fond of Nick Cave, Pink Floyd, Bjork, Tom Waits, The Killers and David Bowie.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
I've floated for four days down the Amazon river, lying a hammock. I burnt my leg on a volcano in Guatemala... I was lost overnight in the Namadji National Park, in Australia when I was 14.
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
Apparently I know a lot of random facts, that I apparently share.
