CURRENT MISSION Living the dream, fighting the good fight. ABOUT ME I move around a lot. I was born in Texas but I've called NYC home for the last 14 years or so, though 'home' is kind of a strong word. I work as a mechanic for an airline, so I have the ability to come and go with relative ease, and I use this ability to the fullest extent possible. I'm hoping to incorporate the opportunity for travel with a talent for writing stuff in order to create something to effect a positive change in the world. My fondest desire is that people could finally understand each other--their motivations, intentions, and differences--and still like one another. PHILOSOPHY Keep it light.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I listen, I learn, I let people stay on my couch (when I have one). COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've been focused on expanding my couch surfing experiences lately because it is simply so awesome. No where will you meet more interesting, kind, and all around fun people [than when you are invading their homes ;)]
Musique, films et livres
I like NPR podcasts, William James novels, books on physics/philosophy, and The Daily Show.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
Honestly? Probably the most amazing things I've seen have occurred during vipassana meditation or working with a shaman. And now you think I'm a big hippy. Well maybe I am.
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
Teach--Life's not a joke, but it's still pretty hillarious. Learn--I'd like to learn how to knit something other than a scarf. Share--I can teach you how to knit a scarf. Or change your starter.
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
I've got stories and laughs and a good ear for dream interpretation, though I am by no means a professional!
Mes centres d'intérêt
Traveling, writing, reading, the news, biking, dancing, mechanic-ing, hiking, people watching, thinking about how it's suddenly a creepy pastime if you say "watching people" but "people watching" is legit, ayahuasca, yoga, discussing the meaning of life and the merits of our actions, learning new languages and various musical instruments. Chocolate.
