CURRENT MISSION ride my tall bike to maniwaki! ABOUT ME I've been traveling off and on for the past two years, mostly riding my tall bike south through north america. Before that I was very involved in bike advocacy in Los Angeles, working with bike co-ops, advocacy orgs and helping get an open street event off the ground (CicLAvia).

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING When I have a place I host people, I enjoy being hospitable. After being a guest in so many places it's great to return the favor. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've surfed quite a bit in Europe, Bogota, Colombia, and most recently in several midwestern cities during a bike tour of the midwest. All experiences I value highly.

Mes centres d'intérêt
I'm really into bicycling in many of its forms. Lately I've been riding a 26 mile one-way commute to long beach, it's been really fun. I've also been working with a group in Los Angeles to start a ciclovia here - a regular street closure that allows pedestrians and bicyclists to take over the streets. Check it out at www.ciclavia.org As for capital "I" Interests, they are the philosophy of mind and biology, and cognitive neuroscience. I see the mind/body problem as a central question around which a lot of my interests revolve. I acquired a nice stereoscopic microscope recently, and have been having a lot of fun looking at all manner if tiny swimmy crawly things. I am also really into geography, urban planning, traffic engineering, and architecture.
