CURRENT MISSION Experience the culture and surf the waves along the west coast of Africa ABOUT ME I love everything which involves outdoors and adventure. I am always down for a hike, bush camping, a dive... I have been a scout for many years, which has set off my taste for bond fires, singing in groups and pushing myself physically and mentally. Growing up in Mauritius, and being surrounded with magnificent marine and on land ecosystems, as well as living within a variety of rich cultures has taught me to observe and value the natural and cultural environment around us. I am easy to get along with. I am a fun person to talk to... And pretty funny--so they say. I am also a very honest person. My friends tell me that I am a good cook, although what people say is one thing... PHILOSOPHY A mind is like a parachute, it doesn't work if it doesn't open.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING By hosting people, I hope to be able to share an enjoyable experience as well as sharing the culture and liveliness of the city I live in. I am also relatively 'new' to Vancouver, but I sure do know where a good hike is or where to find some surf. When I am being hosted, I hope to share some good conversation, maybe participate in some common activities and cook a meal a day if you allow me to use your oven! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have couch surfed in St Lucia, and had the greatest time at one of my hosts place. We shared great meals, and on a couple occasions spent time with the hosts children, who were extremely enthusiastic to show us around. I believe that when people who are positive travelers, eager to discover combine with others who are just as eager to share their knowledge, insight, conversation can only translate in a good experience.
Musique, films et livres
Music - reggae, sega (traditional Mauritius music) and Seggae (which is a mix of sega and reggae). The popular music in Mauritius is the EXACT same as in France except its approx 30years behind.. haha. We still listen and enjoy Cabrel, Tryo, JJG or occasionally a Sardou

One of my recent achievements was completing the Barbados Marathon! :)
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
As an Engineering student, I will challenge any discussions on the process of a mechanism, and hopefully add some knowledge too. If you want adventure, come to my place or host me! I can teach you anything from knots to bamboo campsite constructions. :)
