Ig: @drdesmond.chin ABOUT ME Lol, another "about me" description.. I love backpacking. It's not just about the places to see for me.. I don't aim to finish seeing the world. and i dont rush to see everything when i go travelling. i take my time. alot of it is about the people i meet and learning about new cultures and customs. I want to experience life in a totally different way from the one i am living, doing things that i never get to do in my daily life and learning more about our beautiful world. These are the reasons why i am always on the move. hmm, apart from that, i'm a very relaxed person who loves to have fun and enjoy what life has to offer.take a step back and watch the world go about its business.. ok..... i think that's all i am going to write... feels weird if i have to say things like 'i am a friendly guy.....i am funny ... blah blah....." PHILOSOPHY The world is a book, and those who do not travel only read one page. "Orbis terrarum liber est, et illi qui non commeant modo unam paginam legunt" Saint Augustine Nosce Te Ipsum - To know and learn about yourself I believe in being a good person. Do good. Discover the most beautiful places in the world, accidentally... :)

Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
- Skydived and bungy jumped - Seen Everest and the Himalayas - Lived with some lovely children in Nepal - Snowboarded in the Austrian Alps - Hiked snowy mountains, jungles and deserts - Ayers Rock - Swam in the dead sea - Petra at sunset - Swam with sea snakes and sharks in Fiji - Partied with random people everywhere - Lived like a poor, slept on the streets, and helped the poor - Studying medicine - Saved lives - Played soccer for my country, featured on the local newspaper, broke a knee - Almost drove off a cliff - Found 10 euros on the floor in Vienna - Cycled 25 km out of the city on a shitty bike into the Atacama desert to see the sun set, then cycled back in pitch darkness with a drizzle and the occasional lightning - Woke up at 3am to trek 2.5hrs to see the Patagonian sunrise, almost froze waiting for the sun to rise wearing only shorts and a thin sweater in windy and snowy subzero temperature - A supposed 12 hour bus ride in Bolivia which became a 25 hour one with a river crossing at 4am in the morning - Couchsurfing! every travel brings a new adventure ;)

I always get these questions about Singapore, my home town: -Where is Singapore? -What languages are spoken there? -Do you get jailed, caned, shot or fined for chewing gum in singapore? -What are the things you get fined for in Singapore and how much? -Why is gum banned? -Why is Singapore so clean? So... i will be very happy to share with you about this country where i grew up in, to answer any questions you have, to share with you what i know about asian culture, and to maybe give you a few more words to describe Singapore apart from "nice" and "clean". I would also like to share with you the nicest, weirdest, and most memorable experiences i had during my travels, and to listen to yours as well :)
