HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We started to know the CS project a little bit late although we are good at using Lonely Planet......Acutally when we saw this project, we said to ourselves that we should try it because nothing will be more exciting than to have direct contact with local people in their own country and share interesting talks and stories with them! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE We made our first CS journey in Portugal in 2009 and it is one of the most amazing travel experience that we ever had in Europe. We met nice CS people in Portugal from the very beginning to the end and learned a lot of things from them! We can never know so much things about a country during such a short period if we just traveled alone and CS helped us to fulfill this mission impossible. More importantly, we appreciate the trust and share between people. We are thankful to our hosts in Portugal and we hope that we could return your hospitality and generosity someday, and you gave us a good example on how to receive other Couch surfers :-))
