One of my hobbies is hiking and climbing in the mountains, but since there ain't any in the Netherlands I can only do that on holidays in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. PHILOSOPHY Do as much as you can in a short period of time Or in Dutch: "zo veel mogelijk doen in een zo kort mogelijke tijd" I've had this one since I was 16 :-)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I like to host couch-surfers in my house in Koedijk (short bus ride from the center of Alkmaar). Alkmaar is the cheese capital of the Netherlands and on fridays in summer there is the most famous tourist attraction in the Netherlands: the cheese-market. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have couchsurfed in Wisconsin and Michigan in the USA and met some couchsurfers at my sisters place in Amsterdam.

Music: almost all; jazz, pop, country, blues, rock Books: thrillers like King, Koonz or Ludlum
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
Climbed the highest mountain of Germany (Zugspitze) Got a chance to get my PhD while I don't have my masters. Kicked my ex-boyfriend out of our house (now mine) for a gooooood reason.
