CURRENT MISSION Survive the Chicago winter ! ABOUT ME Very energetic and talklative short blond girl. Born and bred in Paris , France. I have been living between France and the States for 5 years now. After living in Philadelphia last year, where I taught French,I am now living in Chicago and I teach French at UIC. My week usually consist in running around the city, working, going to class, practicing trapeze, reading Marx, Dante and detective novels, drinking wine and planning my next adventures. As a foreigner, I'm always excited to meet new people, getting sucked in mind-blowing conversations about surplus value or the last season of curb your enthusiasm ( around a nice slice of pizza), or begging anyone with a car to take me to an improptu trip to wherever, as long as there is water. Teaching at UIC had proved pretty demanding but so far, I have survived Chicago and I have even started to like my little flat ... Well, until the frigid cold that is... I have another 4 months to teach here and I intend to take advantage of it and discover around a little, but also host : this year, I finnally have a good hosting spot ! I hope to meet awesome people and broaden my understanding of the world, and ... you know, have a good time. I am usually up for anything and love to go on adventures. Please adopt me <3 PHILOSOPHY I guess it's fair to say that I'm a marxist/communist/anarchist, whatever that means to me or you. Im always down to talk about it ( maybe too much ?), but I am in no way jugmental or disrespectful. First, I try to have a good time. I hate people who scrutinize other people's moves and claim to have it all thought out. For sure, our world has set out some pretty crazy standards and I can't wait to see it all break appart. But, as much as I love people living off the grid and trying to live differently, I don't think that its possible to escape our crazy world only through our own independant will. So I avoid scrutinizing, juging and jumping to hasty conclusions. I like when people do the same for me.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING spreading the good word COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE During spring break 2010 , my roomate and I went on a 10 days greyhound/couchsurfing trip in Worcester MA, Montpelier VT, Burlington VT, Quebec City and Montreal and it was AMAZING. Each person we met was different from the former, ALL amazing and it felt like we went away for two months. Then , at the end of the year, I couchsurfed some more with an other friend and on my own , in MASS , VT , Boston and Philly . It was one of the most enriching moment i lived while in the US this year. I have then Couchsurfed in France a little and hosted a few people in Paris. But I also had an incredible time in May - June 2012, where I travelled by myself from San Francisco to Seatttle. I have never seen so many incredible landscapes and so many awesome people.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
The Porcupine river Crazy shaped Icebergs and loud cracking ice cap in Greenland Wolves howling at night ( I know it's cheesy , but it is truly the most amazing thing) France and all its lovely villages (Again, the clichés ARE true) Marseille and its beautiful Calanques with a nice glass of Pastis MAINE <3 etc
