Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
When I was in Lhasa, I got to see a monk who had just finished his pilgrimage. He was sobbing outside the chain-link curtain that prevents just anyone from getting near the Buddha. If you don't know about the monks, heres a short blurb about it: The monks in Tibet travel from wherever they are from, every step of the way prostrating (lying face down on the ground, hands flat on the ground, arms and legs extended-they have metal things they put on their hands so their hands don't get hurt) which takes them years, just to see/pay respect to the golden Buddha that is in the temple.
