I teach a class on running for public office having done so nine times (eight as an independent candidate). Succeeded in electing school board member, sheriff, and ousting an incumbent US Senator. Two of three incumbent congresspeople that I challenged are now out of office - one retired, the other defeated two years after I hammered him in debates...
