CURRENT MISSION Keep doing what I'm doing ABOUT ME Maybe I was a seafarer in a former life because I am driven by the tantalizing temptation of a new adventure. I possess a strong sense of responsibility, value humility and civility, and believe in putting others before oneself. Nature provides me with a profound sense of belonging that is difficult to convey to others who don't experience it. On the other hand, I love a good dinner party. I guess I'm stuck somewhere between both worlds. Anyway, it works for me. PHILOSOPHY People are wonderful. That does not mean that all people appear wonderful to us all the time. Sometimes we are frustrated by people that don't think like we do or who act selfishly. Nevertheless, there is usually something endearing about each one. Don't be a snob. Don't be a snot. Be forgiving, lighthearted and self deprecating. Don't be so entrenched in personal beliefs that you shut out other people. We all end up as dust anyway, no matter what we believe. Enjoy every day as if it is a gift -- because it is. And like it or not, you have to share it.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I started out as a host in San Diego, CA. I enjoy the opportunity that CS gives us to get to know others in our own communities, and I encourage everyone to take advantage of that. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I hosted a number of couch surfers. I hope to keep doing so from time to time, and maybe one day, get a chance to use someone else's couch.
