PLEASE READ! I have been getting multiple requests per day and am taking a little break from hosting. But if you'd like to go hiking or maybe sleep over on a mountain, let me know :) I'm a... ... outdoor enthusiast... maths nerd... dog lover... data scientist... gourmet cook... explorer... artisan baker... engineer... pianist... adventure junkie... lifelong student... CURRENT MISSION In less than a month we will be embarking on an epic journey, backpacking across Europe and climbing as many mountains as we can! In South Africa we are exploring all this beautiful country has to offer (inbetween our day jobs, which involve coding / data science - all the geeky stuff). PHILOSOPHY You only get to live once, and you don't know how much time you have left. Got a dream? Make it happen.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world, especially outdoorsy people :) I love showing others the fantastic hiking opportunities around our home town!
Musique, films et livres
I enjoy alternative rock / indie music like Of Monsters And Men, Coldplay and Band of Horses. Also a fan of old school music from the 60's onwards (Beatles, Queen, ...) And classical music - Chopin is my favourite! Reading / movies: mostly Fantasy / Science Fiction
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
I've done so many amazing hikes that it would be hard to single out one of them! Some of the best ones that come to mind: a 4 day trip in the Drakensberg, a very ambitious Cederberg mission and a few crazy Jonkershoek adventures.
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
I enjoy cooking and baking and would love to share a homemade South African meal with hosts! I'm really into hiking and can share some interesting stories :)
Mes centres d'intérêt
Way more things than I have time for! Currently the main mission is hiking, trail running and everything inbetween, but I do enjoy baking, playing piano, painting etc when I have time. I'm also fortunate to have a job that I really enjoy (data science in healthcare).
