CURRENT MISSION Gardening ABOUT ME Born in the American West, in exile since 1970. I've lived in the Latin Tropics, in Eastern and Western Europe, in New Mexico, New York, Wisconsin, Seattle, Portland... I've camped and hitched everywhere, have slept in teepees and trees, on boat docks, under bridges, in dug-out canoes, but now I'm through with all that and I want to stay put. I'm working on a new book and spending as much time as possible in the garden with my little girl. PHILOSOPHY you play...you win...you play... you lose...you play...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I host CSers at my farm in Co Down. I'm available to meet up in Belfast where I work but the couch is 40 mins south on a farm. Please don't request a Belfast overnight as I have nothing available. The couch is in a rural location between Belfast and Dublin and further details are available if you email me. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Great, actually. Have surfed Finland, Russia and Japan and hosted in Ireland.
