My husband and I live in a small town in a old house in Northern California. We love wine and beer and spirits, exploring the outdoors, and our cat, Peter. Brendan's Rules: 1) If there is a body of water, I must swim in it 2) If there is a group of people dancing, I must join in 3) It is your duty to be happy I know we don't have many references and such. But if you'd like to ask me any questions via message I am willing and able. Neither my husband and I are very dependent on technology, we don't go on facebook much, and so we don't have very good profiles. We want to experience the world with our senses! (Although, I do love Instagram).

I think this is a great way to really learn about the places you are visiting. I've only surfed twice so far and they were both great experiences. Both were when I was studying in Spain during my college years. I still remember the people we stayed with and the awesome conversations that we had. Unfortunately, we live in a very small town in Northern California; not really a place that tourists visit, so I haven't been able to host, or even hangout, at our place. I would, definitely, but folks don't really come to Colusa, CA! Brendan and I are traveling to Ireland in October for two weeks. I would love to show him just how great couch surfing is. We will be spending a few nights in Dublin, and then we will be visiting Brendan's family; his uncle has also requested we visit the Shrine for Our Lady of Knock.

I can give you a great tour of Colusa if you ever had the desire to visit, haha! Brendan and I have lots of knowledge when it comes to exploring Northern California (especially when it comes to beer tasting and bodies of water)! We love to visit Winters, Davis, Sacramento, Santa Rosa/Sonoma area! We don't know about ALL the touristy things, but we know some pretty cool stuff that is tried and true for us!
