CURRENT MISSION Live life like I was gonna die. ABOUT ME I climb, cook, ski, and laugh. I write code, take photos, and bike. I have a blog that got started when I moved to Japan a few years ago. I've managed to do a fairly good job of continuing to put things on it. So, why don't we let it introduce me? http://www.novaugust.net/blog PHILOSOPHY As soon as you're born you start dying, so you might as well have a good time

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I don't think I'd be unusual to say that, I love couchsurfing for meeting people. That's my main form of participation =) By chance I've got a pretty even record of hosting and surfing, and wouldn't mind keeping it that way. I love seeing new places through local eyes, and I love showing off the places I know to new people. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Couchsurfing has introduced me to best friends I didn't know I had and made it possible for me to travel to all sorts of wonderful places. Horay!
Musique, films et livres
I put some of the things I read on goodreads -- http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/10461240 I'd get more specific, but I don't want my poor taste scaring off potential friends ;)
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
I have lived my life and get to keep doing it. So much time spent on rocks and dirt trails, or on deep snow or tropical seas, I'm very happy to be me. Best of all is the wonderful people who were there with me.
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I'll share with you about outdoors life, good eats, whiskies, nerdy computer things, Japanese things, ashtanga, heyoo. Teach me your favorite recipes, favorite brews, your getaways, and share with me about whatever it is that gets you out of bed.
Mes centres d'intérêt
Climbing, snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, biking, backpacking/hiking/camping, yoga, ultimate.. you know. Stereotypical Rocky Mountain stuff. I'm surprised I don't drive a subaru. I particularly enjoy the act of putting things in my mouth, moving my jaw up and down a bit, and further moving those things down into my tummy-tum-tum. To that end, I've somehow turned into a pretty good cook.
