I’m an American medical student in Milan, spending at least the next three years in northern Italy. I’m easy-going, quiet, compassionate, and have a good sense of humor. There's a lot I want to see and explore in the world.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I'm hoping to travel once I've saved up a bit of money. I like meeting new people and meeting locals seems much more authentic than spending your time in hotels. I have my own place so I would love to host people!
Musique, films et livres
Music is too hard to choose. I have too many favorites. Movies: Babel, Biutiful, Syriana, Traffic, Crash, Amores Perros, Black Orpheus, Turtles Can Fly Books: Song of Solomon, Heart of Darkness, What is the What, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, The Power of One, Kite Runner, To Kill a Mockingbird, Chronicle of a Death Foretold.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
Swam in Lago de Nicaragua, the only freshwater lake with sharks. Drank yak butter tea, ate duck brain and scorpion. I worked in emergency medicine, have done CPR, and have had some crazy experiences on an ambulance in the outskirts of Denver. I'm a cancer survivor, not that I did anything to achieve that. It was thanks to the brilliance and compassion of my treatment team and thanks to purely blind luck.
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I love learning new languages and learning about other cultures. I like learning hands-on skills. I'm happy to teach anything I know: English, other languages, baking, etc.
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
I'm happy to do chores and help out in any way I can. I’m a decent cook, also.
