CS changed my life! I hosted for about two years and I was so impressed by the stories I heard that I decided life on the road is a life worth living! PHILOSOPHY All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts..... Last scene of all, That ends this strange eventful history, Is second childishness and mere oblivion, Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Hosted over 100 McSurfers when I first started way back when...and used CS to travel for about 7 years. Now I am a mom with a young child and an awesome Dave Gahan lookin' father. Very lucky. So I am not hosting since I have to respect my man's non-CS way of thinking. But I know so many people in the community I want to keep in touch with the traveling world because I get so many of my past guests/hosts asking me to help them travel via CS to all parts of Europe and the Americas. So I am here to help them out. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have both hosted and surfed. I thank the gods for CS.com. There is no other way to travel. It’s not about the money saving factor, even though that is a plus. It’s about arriving in a strange city and immediately having friends that are excited to see you as if they have known you for ages; never feeling like a tourist and always feeling safe and at home. That is something money cannot buy no matter how fancy the hotel! I thank all my guest and host for participating in this great community.

Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
I traveled for almost 7 years straight, before my 36th. I look back now and wonder how the hell I did it with no real career or help from a trust fund or my family. Crazy! I have all my CS family to thank for that!

Cooking, walking the city just to feel its heartbeat, a shady trail, wine, a cloudy day at the beach while my man paddles, reading, laughing. Spending time with my Dary, Raven and Snoopy, go out for a good meal and wine, stay in and cook a great meal for my gorgeous little family, and watch my child grow into a witty young girl.
