HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Most of time hosting, cooking, talking, sharing our humble life experience, talking about local history (or any other intersting subject coming up), living nice moments, drinking iced beers with hosts when warm weather, warm wine if cold :-) For us, travelling is mainly meeting different peoples, cultures, local and personal histories, ways of life... We prefer to take time to live a piece of "local life", and not to check a "to see" list . So, even if we like to visit sites during the day, we often favour quality time and exchanges, and for that, if we have to spend a day cooking, speaking, eating, laughing, having drinks, playing music or games, that's totally OK! It will be the same if we host you, within our agenda limits, we'll try to be availables to allow this kind of real encounters. When beeing hosted, we obviously contribute to not be a burden. And maybe if you let us the kitchen/ the BBQ, we should cook something not so bad* ! *Depending on the local supplies availables, within the limits of the chef's knoweledge !
