I like the French "auteur" idea--some favorites: Jarmusch, Coppola, Hitchcock, Wenders, Melville, more... Music: Fado (Misia, Mariza, Moura), blues, jazz from the 50´s and 60´s, bluegrass, almost anything that shows creativity and musicianship...

I have lived in Prague more than ten years, so I can show you around and give some advice. (Number one: if you are paying more than 48 Czech crowns for a beer you are in the wrong place! Find a place the locals go!)

Film (I was a film student, so be careful if you start a discussion with me about films I like!), music (I used to have a World Music program on the radio in the USA--but for a very small station! Another area I´m always ready to talk about and learn about new music...), travel.
