Since I finished my Sciences studies, I find time again to travel around and discover new places, habits, philosophies and friends. I work some job for some time and then travel. I enjoy meeting travellers in my flat in Leipzig(Germany) as well as locals while travelling. I am curious by nature (Scientist :-) ) and like to see the world by the eyes of others. In march I came back from a wonderful trip to South East Asia because countries began to close the borders. Now in November 2020 and weather in Germany is bad so I set off to travel again! I never was in Brazil before, it is one of my dreams for some years so am excited :-)

Movies: Zorbas the Greek, Fight Club, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Monty Python's Life of Brian, American Beauty, Barry Lyndon, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Easy Rider, OSS 117, The Godfather, Das Boot, Le grand bouffe Literature: Don Quixote by Cervantes is the best! Other favourites are: Nassim Taleb, Laurence Sterne, Milan Kundera, Fjordor Dostojevski(!) Friedrich Nietzsche (info for tourists and fans: Nietzsche is born in Röcken, a village 15km from Leipzig. You can look up his family grave there) My most recent discovery: Zorba the Greek by Nikos Kazantzakis. I love it! Music: At the moment, to get in the mood for Brazil I listen to Bossa Nova music all the time :-) At some point I stopped listening to "cool" music but now enjoy music that moves my heart no matter the genre. Some that come to mind are The Clash, Noir Desir, Joy Division, Dalida, Mozart's Don Giovanni(!), Schubert, and many others

I am convinced you can learn something from everybody. You just have to have conversations and find out what you can learn. Hmmm, I can try to teach you some German in exchange for your Portuguese

Some time I enjoy rather calm interests such as reading, research, speculating about life, the Universe and everything... other times I go for social activities such as drinking, dancing, meeting with friends.
