in 2010 a friend and myself completed a 1800 mile, 23 day bike tour from Austin, Texas to Los Angeles, California. It was an life experience that taught me about people, places, and the things we take for granted. Ever since that trip I craved another and now it has begun. I will head the other direction to New York City on April 17 (day after my b-day) 2013!

My life revolves around cycling. I grew up racing mountain bikes and later got into road racing. I've most recently been involved in Track cycling and touring. When I'm not training, commuting, or teaching cycling I'm watching movies, listening to all different types of music, or working on cars. Food is also a passion of mine. I love trying different recipes nom nom nom.
