HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Usually it goes like this: I request - you accept. I come over - we talk (a lot). I sleep. I hang out in your city. We (if you're lucky I) cook dinner - I wash the dishes (and I never do this at home, I hate dishes!). We do something fun - we probably become friends. I sleep. And eventually I leave again... We could try something else if you prefer! As long as it involves "I request - you accept" or "you request - I accept". I also try to tell as many people as possible about CS and convince them of how great it is! And when they actually sign up, it's kind of a victory for me ;-) COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have couchsurfed the whole west coast of the US and I had nothing but good experiences!! I met amazingly nice people, stayed with great people and families and had the time of my life! I've couchsurfed on many small and big trips since, all around Europe and with every experience, I'm more convinced of the CS idea!
