We cannot host as our apartment is super small, however we'll be happy to show you around Quebec City. As well we are seasoned travellers, we can assist you with issues related to your trip. CURRENT MISSION Discover our great big earth and other living creatures ABOUT ME We are respectfull and we are not considering our Host as a private guide nor his home and belonging as hotel or rental agency. If we can assist in chores we will definitely give a hand, it's the least we can do for you, our parents brought us up as mindful and polite persons after all. We will read our host's profile in order to know the person but also to comply with the house rules (if any). We are two friendly backpackers (married couple), loving to laugh and meeting new people as well as new cultures. We enjoy all types of music and food (specially in good company.. oh yeah, we enjoy cooking too!). *** Really important *** Jacynthe is critically allergic to cats, kindly let us know if you had or have currently a feline. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Sharing my experience. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE When travelling we enjoy spontaneious invitation from local people, being able to witness different ways of living. In Morocco: We had a tremendous time with a member of CouchSurfing, he gave us such good hints and lived with him for a month. THANKS A.B. *** Stayed with a Christian family in Melacca (Malaysia), when to the beach with the kids and invented a new game playable on the beach. Dr. J. we cherish these great moments with you and you family.
Musique, films et livres
Regarding music.. pretty much everything but no real interest in pop music though. Movies that we both liked: Koyaaniskatsy, Run Lola Run, KillBill, MotorCycle diaries and many many others. Books: Robert Sheckley, Amélie Nothomb, Anne Rice, french classic litterature, russian classic litterature, Zen stories, BD de Guy Delisle, Michel Rabagliatti tv series; Le comte de Monte Cristo, etc.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
Done the french & spanish part of the Camino de Santiago. Heard Schubert's "Ave Maria" in a XII century church in the middle of nowhere in North of Spain. Got married in september 2010. Visited Japan and met with Ayumi and Takayuki.. just WOW !!! Flying balloon over Capadocce, Turkey. Playing frisbee early morning on the beach with the Jesudasan's family in Melaka. Snorkelling in Karimunjawa.
