Currently reading Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. Very heavy. Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives was the last film that left a deep deep impression on me. Something about the film reminds me what our true, base relationship with animals is, or ought to be: mutual and compassionate.
