CURRENT MISSION making meaningful connections ABOUT ME 28 year old, wanting to see the world and meet people and make friends while doing so. I'm currently pursuing my PhD at University of Tennessee, studying counseling psychology and the intersection of identities. Work: I have worked in a variety of settings: -An elementary school with kids with special needs -A PCA with a kid with Autism at his house. -Worked at the Twins baseball stadium. -I was an Americorps member, working in a high school in inner city Minneapolis -Worked as a tech aide in a laboratory at 3M All of these experiences have stretched me further than I've imagined and I'm learning so much. I'd describe myself as a friendly and curious person, open to new people and experiences. Things I love: psychology social justice stuff biking languages dancing marginalized groups music some sports FOOD. . In my spare time, -I try to learn languages, explore cities that I'm living in, be active, go to the gym and to parks, find new coffee shops. I enjoy exploring the city on my bike, read blogs about travel and gay culture, and enjoy being social. I'm perpetually trying to save money for future traveling.
