To make friends from all over the world! In 2014, I did Semester at Sea and got the chance to travel to over 15 countries. During that time I discovered CS and learned about the amazing community surrounding travelers. As soon as I got to Chicago, I started accepting as many surfers as I could. I've had guests from all over (Germany, Turkey, Denmark, New Zealand, Tunisa, etc.) and the experience has been amazing! I've dyed a guest's hair, shared home cooked meals, took them to a tattoo parlor (Cheryl was getting the tattoo), had a dance party, and all types of other things. I can really get people out of their shell because I believe in being your authentic self! I want my guests to feel right at home so I love taking them around the city, introducing them to my friends, having great conversation, and really giving them an immersive experience. I try to look for hosts who do the same thing with their guests but if they don't #itallGOOD.
