I grew up in Alaska and was and still am insatiably curious about the rest of the world and it's cultures. I'm new to Couchsurfing so I've yet to host or be hosted but it seems like it could be an amazing experience. I enjoy listening to stories as well as tell my own and I love to laugh. I'm a bit introverted so I tend to listen more than talk but once I get warmed up, I'll chat the night away!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
Hostels and guesthouses are great, but I feel the most authentic way to experience a culture is by getting to know a local. Couchsurfing can provide the opportunity to make a lasting friendship with a local and create the grounds for a cultural exchange

Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
When I was 19, I decided to quit my job and go see the world. At the time, the only thing on my to do list was attending San Fermines, or, "The running of the bulls" in Pamplona, Spain. I bought a one way ticket to Spain and didn't look back. I ran with the Bulls and kept going, and my journey so far has taken me to the Balkan Peninsula and all the way to India. Needless to say, there's never a dull moment
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I come from a very unique culture with the massive isolation from the world that Alaska faces, I find it fascinating learning about how other societies and cultures work and comparing it to my own. So much can be learned from other people from anywhere in the world and I always love to listen and learn
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
People from all walks of life have stories and I'm no different, one unique ace up my sleeve is that being from Alaska, very very few people have insight into what it's truly like living there. I love to talk about my home state where I grew up and share stories of my adventures so far
Mes centres d'intérêt
First and foremost, I love to learn and to experience new things. I've fallen in love with travel, as not only does it teach, it gives the opportunity to teach others. Learning from other cultures and providing knowledge of my culture to others will make me a more worldly person, which I aspire to be. I hate small talk, I love to have conversations that go out on tangents to people's wildest thoughts and passions.
