The best part of any adventure is meeting people who know the city they live in inside and out. How else are you going to find those hidden gems that only the locals know about?
Musique, films et livres
Favourite music - Belle & Sebastian, Radiohead, The Smiths, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tindersticks etc. etc. Favourite movies - Big Fish, Pan's Labyrinth, The Assassination of Jesse James, Cold Mountain etc. Favourite TV shows - The Sopranos (number one), Narcos, Better Call Saul, The Wire, Mad Men, Gomorrah etc. Favourite books - anything by George Orwell, Cormac McCarthy or Sebastian Faulks.

I've bungee-jumped over the Nile in Uganda. That was pretty amazing I suppose.
