I'm a recent graduate from Washington, DC, and have been traveling around since graduation. A family member works for an airline, which lets me travel standby for basically free! So I've been taking advantage of this for the past year or so. I spent the first two months of 2015 in Argentina, before heading over the Canada, Thailand and Hong Kong. After that, I visited Ireland, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia. I thought Slovenia was amazing, and I'm dying to go back! I have a special place in my heart for Germany, as I spent a gap year in Nuremberg, which was easily one of the happiest times in my life!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
To meet new people, who are adventurous and love to travel like I do!
Musique, films et livres
Music: Counting Crows, Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Bon Iver, Belle and Sebastian, Regina Spektor, MGMT, Phoenix, Arctic Monkeys...a bit all over the place and I like experimenting with new music as well. I have a ton of favorite movies and books, but the ones I can think of that I enjoyed recently are The Gold Finch, A Moveable Feast, Thirty Girls, and #Girlboss (the only book with a hashtag I will hopefully ever read.) Amelie is one of my favorite movies, as well as Goodbye Lenin.

Mes centres d'intérêt
I volunteer with an animal rescue group at home, and adore animals. Obviously I love traveling, and I am a huge fan of hiking as well. I like foreign films, reading, yoga, and am trying to learn paddle board. I always like to try out things at least once to see if I'm into it.
