When I'm traveling by myself I usually end up missing talking to someone about the things that impressed me/moved me/interested me that come with getting to know another culture, country, etc. Also, the most part of the knowledge you can get from getting to know new places and travelling, comes from simple conversations with other people. And couchsurfing connects such people :)

Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Dry the River, Radiohead, Classic Music, Gustavo Cordera, Onda Vaga, Perota Chingo, electronic music in general... Movies, mmm, not much of a television fan, I don't enjoy sitting in front of a screen and watch movies/series/tv when I'm by myself. Books! Lately I haven't read any novels, only books about economics...I really enjoy Latinamerican authors and can recommend a few books by Borges, Saramago, García Márquez, Bioy Cáseres and such.
