Not much to write about, I'm a PhD physics student that loves travelling :) Currently live in Kamioka-cho, Hida-shi, Japan. It's a small mining town quite close to Hida - but with better views on the mountains.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I'm pretty sure that I'm here for the same reason as everybody else; to meet new people around the world while being able to survive abroad on a tight budget!
Musique, films et livres
Too much to make a full list! I listen to anything from Red Hot Chilli Peppers through Tame Impala up to The Ink Spots from 1930s. As for books my favourite author is Steven Erikson, who wrote the Malazan Book Of The Fallen series.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
Hitchhiked from Doncaster, UK to Beijing, China through Europe, Russia and Mongolia with a tent and ~£300 to survive (no hotels, restaurants etc). It took two months (was prepared for 3) across deserts, swamps steps and cities!
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I can bore you with Physics or show around Kamioka/Hida/Takayama/Toyama/Kanazawa!
Mes centres d'intérêt
A little bit of everything I guess! I love physics, mathematics and all the other sciences, but I guess you would expect that from a PhD student in Physics... I'm quite an active person; currently running, road cycling when back in the UK. I love music (both listening and composing), I'm into jazz, funk, rock and anything that's catchy :) Last but not least, I love travelling and meeting new people!
