Kaixo people!! I am Beñat, a guy from a village next to Donostia (San Sebastian) in the Basque Country. I am here to meet locals and travelers wherever I go, and to host them as long as I am able. I think the best way to know a place is by the hand of a local.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I want to meet people when I travel in order to plan and visit places together. I could show nice sites in the basque country if I am there, otherwise the place where I am at the moment.
Musique, films et livres
I am very keen on rock and metal music, as well as basque groups in general. I enjoy watching films. If I had to choose my favourite ones would be: -The lord of the rings -Goodfellas -Gran Torino
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
- I dont think it is amazing, but i did some stages of Santiago way in covid year by my own. It was a good experience 👌👌 - Hiking 10 hours on a day with much snow to reach the beautiful place of Trolltunga, in Norway and come back to the parking.
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I can teach basque and spanish, as well as basque culture, customs and history. I can also share my experiences during my trips and stays abroad. I really like learning other languages, I think that knowing the language of a land is often important to understand the culture.

I think I am humorous, but not very expressive though haha. Maybe I struggle opening to new people, but I think if you get to know me a little bit you will have a great time.

I like practising and watching sport. I have not travelled too much, but I would like to, because I like knowing different places, new cultures and people.
