I am quiet, but love to meet good people. I prefer to spend my time out doors and learning-- whether that be through study, conversation, martial arts classes, or hands on learning though hard labor like contracting/ home repair(most often with friends). Whenever possible I try to relax through hiking, biking, swimming, and kayaking.

I will be traveling a great deal in the coming years through Southeast Asia and Europe for research and would love to make new acquaintances.
Musique, films et livres
Movies: I find black and white films and movie with subtitles relaxing.Some of my favorites include North by NorthWest, To Kill a Mockingbird, 12 Angry Men, Inherit the Wind, and About de Soufflé (Breathless), Comedies like the Princess Bride, Young Frankestein, and Blazing Saddles. I also do my best to keep up with the multitude of films in the Marvel and DC universes. As for music: Punk and Ska are my life blood, with a healthy dose of metal-- or if I am feeling mellow some classics: the Rat Pack, Louis Armstrong, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and The Who.

I have taught self defense and other combative arts for around eight years: especially Tai Chi and Krav Maga. I am a Teaching Assistant and spent my undergrad years working as a tutor and training other tutors under CRLA standards.

Martial Arts Lessons-- I have taken a variety of martial arts and can share a yang form of Tai Chi or some Krav Maga based self-dense. I love to see people's confidence grow and for me teaching is an honor. I come from a Sicilian family and am happy to cook.
