I've been traveling since I was a wee babe, so I may well be the OG of couch surfing for the born in '86 crowd. I've been pretty solidly in New York for the past decade or so, with brief stints in Los Angeles and Torino-Italy, and I literally have people spread across the globe like a crazy person. I'm highly extroverted and love connecting with new people - particularly queer people - because I'm queer and I honestly feel like I'm part of a super special club with all the best parties and humans. I also get along super well with feminists, anti-racists, and other rebels. I'm not the most politically active person, but my personal is political as fuck, and I'm about as far from basic as a person can get although my derby name is The Basic One. I generally occupy my time cooking, binging crap television, dancing/flirting ineptly but passionately at queer events, and trying to learn to skate and officiate with the Gotham Girls Roller Derby league.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
Practical Answer: I'm heading to New Orleans for a roller derby tournament and I live in New York; I'm not a Trump or Olsen, so my rent is too damn high and I'm (relatively) poor. Philosophical Answer: I've traveled a lot and had a tough time finding queer community. I want to couchsurf as a queer person and help queer people/people interested in hanging out find queer spaces in the city. My world is yours and your world is mine. I wish I could host right now, as I find it really fun having new people in my home, but one of my roommates is very anxious, so, for now, all I can share is my time and friendship - which is pretty awesome, promise.
