I'm a PhD student, who studies ants for living and do some teaching as well. I'm a very chilled out person, and like to meet new people, understand them and see the world through their eyes. I'm not an avid traveller, but I'm an advocate of slow travel- stay at one place for a long time rather than exploring too many things and not having any memory out of the travel.

Being a student, I cannot afford luxury holidays. So Couchsurfing is a great way to save the travel costs and meet new people and explore the place like a local.

My favourite movie is Showshank redemption; favourite book The diary of the young girl (by Anne Frank); favourite music -bollywood and regional Indian (South Asian Indian) music.

As a PhD student, I'm always up for learning new things. If anyone is interested, I can teach basic math and basic calculus and about animal behavior.
