I hope to travel the world one day, and I think couchsurfing is an excellent way to learn the cultures of the areas I visit. I'm interested in more than just seeing the tourist sights. I want to experience the country. If I could help out by offering a place to sleep to others who are doing the same thing, I'd love to be a part of that. I have plenty of empty room in my house, so why not use it to help others.

I like many types of music, but most often I listen to contemporary Christian music or American pop music, and my next favorites are country music and classic rock. For movies, I prefer romantic comedies. I definitely don't like corny comedy movies (I'm talking about you, Dumb and Dumber), and I don't like anything with too much sex or foul language. My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice, but I'll read almost any kind of love story.
