Traveling should be an opportunity to form community, not just to have isolated and fabricated experiences on your own. There are more than enough empty beds for heads to lay on ya know for heads seeking empty beds. There's more than enough life and joy for everybody--we need to start sharing! Excited to meet some rad folks and make sleep noises on their couches, as well as to contribute what I can to this awesome network of beautiful encounters

In terms of books, I just finished Zadie Smith's White Teeth, Shane Claiborn's The Irresistible Revolution, and Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States. In terms of music, the last three songs I've listened to were "On and Ever Onward" by Bjork and the Dirty Projectors, "With Arms Outstretched" by Rilo Kiley, and (classic!) "Paper Planes" by M.I.A. The last three movies I've watched were Finding Dory, Medicine for Melancholy, and 5 Broken Cameras.
