Hi. I am Claas. I grew up in Vienna/ Austria. I was born in Brazil and now I am living just outside of Vienna in the Viennese Woods. I started a NPO in order to help people who suffer from Neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder, because my older daughter is affected by this disease. So I travel to conferences on this topic and I try to make a difference for people with NF in Austria. Unfortunately I always only stay for the conferences and then go straight back home again, because I have 2 little girls and a wife that want me back asap :)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
Since I want to keep travel expenses for our NPO as low as possible I want to give couch surfing a shot. I am very thankful for everyone who hosts guests and I will register our home here too.

Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
I cared for my daughter full time when she had to go through chemotherapy when she was just 2 years old. It went for 18 month and I learned more from that little 2 year old girl, than I ever learned from anyone before, about true bravery, optimism, courage and unselfishness. It lead me to founding an NPO called "NF Kinder" and I hope I can be always a good father and more importantly a friend to her forever.

I love sports, music and film and like to talk about these topics. I enjoy nature a lot and love to travel and experience new environments.

I can share my experiences of growing up in the unique city of Vienna and my experiences with my work. I try to stay positive and make the best out of every situation.
Mes centres d'intérêt
I am interested in research and development of medicinal products, neuropsychology and fundraising. In my private life I enjoy Basketball, Surfing, Snowboarding, film and photography and playing the piano.
