hiya! I grew up in the UK - originally from Wales, spent my university years in Scotland and just moved from London where I have spent the last 6 years. I'm in Canada on a two year working visa. Having just got myself together with everything I need in Calgary, I've hit the road in my van and hoping to pick up work and new pals as I go! In the UK, I worked as a Volunteer Manager so I am big into community and making connections/meeting new people. Everyone has a story and I believe we can learn a lot from each other. I worked mostly in the homelessness and environmental sectors with my work - both of which have been hugely formative for me. I enjoy yoga, meditation, the outdoors, meeting new people, exploring new places and dancing! I have a silly side that likes to come out to play sometimes, too. Travelling is important to me - but although I have travelled to a few places, India has stolen my heart and I return there every year to volunteer on education environmental project for children. And for the food - the food is great! I look forward to seeing more of Canada and learning more about the culture here! Oh and music is also a huge passion for me - various styles - and I enjoy finding new music through festivals, radio stations and sharing with friends. I can make a mean playlist!

I am getting back to my roots and trying to learn Welsh so I can teach you some of the basics! I'm also learning the ukelele. I'm rubbish and it's taking me ages but that doesn't stop me from jamming if you're up for it.
