Hello:) i'm finally going on holiday to gran canaria! I am so excited to swim in the sea in december?! is it really possible? it looks a beautiful place. i love eating delicious fresh foods, swimming, cycling, hiking, camping etc, so this looks like a perfect place. Im going for a month and so looking for a few different hosts who might be able to offer me somewhere to sleep for a few nights.

I've been hosting informally here in Leeds for a while so thought it might be good to finally set up a couch surfing account & link in with the friendly couchsurfing community . i think it's a beautiful network & i love meeting new people, learning new things and exploring places :)

ahh too hard... the poisonwood bible by Barbara Kingsolver, the handmaids tale margaret atwood, everything is illumnated Jonathan Safran Foer are some that spring to mind. always up for hearing and dancing to new music. amelie, love films by Pedro Almodóvar

I love cooking and gardening, happy to give suggestions or help with any gardening. i confess im very poor at learning languages - please ignore my pretending to learn arabic, it's an ongoing process ;) but i really would like to try and pick up some words and phrases so i'm not another terrible example of the ignorant english traveller...Very happy to practice english with people/read over any forms/job applications etc .
