I believe in "Sharing is Caring" to make the CSers happy and support the CS community. I love to share my homes, food, knowledge, expertise, tips and experience with you. I don't suffer from the IPS, the Insecurity Psychosis Syndrome. So I don't worry about the nominal expenses towards the hosting cost unlike a few weird hosts!!! I am a retired Professor who devoted 41 years of life for teaching and research on jetlag, sleep and Antarctica. I have guided nineteen Ph. D. and sixteen M. Phil. research fellows and published over 66 original research papers in high impact factored American and European Journals (Google keywords will be sent upon request to see all published papers online). Nowadays I act as an Examiner and co-guide for M. D./Ph. D. degrees. I am a simple, compassionate, God fearing, peace loving and minimalist person. I have been practicing Yoga for the past 56 years. I respect the old traditional values. I have always followed a healthy lifestyle : no alcohol, tobacco products, junk foods, drugs, caffeine, red meat, cold drinks, processed foods, sugar, icecream, spicy food, etc. Happy to be 47 kg!! Fighting fit!!! I use all resources thoughtfully so that I leave fewer carbon footprints on this Mother Earth. I believe that it's our moral obligation to keep this green planet hospitable for the future generations too. I had to travel extensively (more than 180 countries) as a visiting scientist with academic assignments like mapping the human genome (Govt./WHO financed) or as a tourist (self financed) since 1975 when the CS did not exist at all! A few of the traveled counties which I remember are cited below for general information only and not for impressing anybody at the age of 70!!! Initially for 10 years or so, I used to take photos of the places I visited, later on I gave up owing to the inevitable habituation and no desire to hoard more than 4,500 B/W photos in the absence of the present day Digital Technology. Although, I belong to the academic category, I get along with all types of people and I learn so much from them as we have come from different backgrounds: academic, upbringing, cultural and ethical. I regard myself as the student with the desire for perpetual learning.
